Similarly, unlocking a legendary hunter will recruit one for free immediately. Buying more weapons with the same skin costs the same amount of Hunt Dollars as the base weapon. When a legendary weapon is unlocked, you will receive one weapon with that skin for free. They can be unlocked by Prestiging, completing Trials, paying or earning Blood Bonds, or by buying DLC. Legendaries in Hunt: Showdown can either be Legendary Weapons or Legendary Hunters.
